SOOWERY is recalling approximately 138 eight-drawer fabric dressers, according to a CPSC notice dated October 29, 2026. Unanchored units can tip over or trap a child, with potentially fatal consequences. CPSC says the furniture fails the mandatory clothing-storage safety standard. No incidents or injuries were reported in the notice.
Check the packaging
The gray and black dressers have a metal frame and eight fabric drawers. Look for SKU SOO-8DD-G01 on the packaging. CPSC gives dimensions of 47.2 inches wide, 11.8 inches long and 35.4 inches tall, with a weight of 47.5 pounds. They sold on Amazon between December 2025 and August 2026 for around $106.
Refund instructions
CPSC tells owners to stop using affected dressers immediately if they are not anchored, keep them where children cannot access them and contact SOOWERY for a full refund. The process requires marking the top, front and sides as recalled, removing the drawers and sending photographs before disposal. The official notice supplies the email address and full steps.
Seller identified in the notice
CPSC lists Shenzhen Zhongyuantong Technology Co., Ltd., trading as SOOWERY, as the retailer and identifies China as the manufacturing country.
