DREO is recalling about 338,800 DR-HSH015 electric space heaters in the United States. The October 29 CPSC notice covers units made from April 2025 through January 2026. The model and manufacture date are printed underneath the heater. DREO received 17 reports of heaters igniting, including one burn injury.
What owners should do
The CPSC advises owners to stop using affected heaters immediately and contact DREO for a free replacement. Use the official notice to find the recall form and follow the company’s instructions for disabling and documenting the heater.
